ETS: Design, calculation and validation of a positioning equipment to improve the process of surface treatment of wind turbine sections.
Aim:
The aim of the project is to develop a new machine that will enable the operations of painting and surface treatment of large wind towers to be carried out in a more agile and safer way. The equipment will be self-loading and self-aligning, with a capacity for sections of 8 metres in diameter and up to 400 tonnes..

EBV100: Redesign and optimisation of a Flange-Can Assembly Machine for assemblies up to 100 tonnes
Aim:
The aim of the project is to design a flange-can joining machine that will enable the safe, reliable and efficient joining of wind tower sections of up to 100 tonnes. Each of the components of a smaller capacity assembly machine will be redesigned to adapt it to the new load, optimise it and provide it with new functionalities.
